Lemedix Mobile App
Lemedix Mobile is a work app for phlebotomists and field staff of labs that use the Lemedix platform. Each lab creates the accounts for its own staff. This section explains what the app collects and why.
- Account information. Your name, work email, and role, as set up by your lab. We use them to sign you in and to show you your work.
- Location. The app collects your device’s precise location only while you are clocked in. We use it to record check-ins at facilities, to measure mileage, and to time routes. Location collection stops when you clock out. You can turn off location access in your phone’s settings at any time; check-in and mileage then do not work.
- Work records. Clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, check-ins, samples collected and the reasons a sample was not collected, hand-offs, and drop-offs.
- Photos and signatures. When you choose to, the app takes a photo of a draw log, paper order, or face sheet, and captures the facility nurse’s signature at check-out. The app reads your photo library only when you pick a photo.
- Patient information. The app shows the patient details your lab needs you to have for a collection, such as name, date of birth, facility, and ordered tests. This information comes from the lab’s systems. The app keeps it on the phone only while you work and deletes it when you clock out or sign out.
The app has no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking. We do not sell information from the app or use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Information from the app goes to the lab that employs or contracts you and to the providers that host the Lemedix platform for that lab. Work records are kept as long as the lab needs them for its operations, billing, and legal obligations. To close your account or ask about your information, contact your lab’s administrator or write to cs@lemedix.com.
